Why Rob is Backing the A Kid's Place of Tampa Bay.
"Life is challenging. For a lot of these kids, to be successful and happy in this life they will have to overachieve. Hopefully raising some money and awareness gives some of these kids an opportunity to overachieve and more." - Rob Refsnyder
WHAT IS A KID'S PLACE OF TAMPA BAY?A Kid's Place provides residential services to children from birth to age 18, who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or abandonment and to provide a variety of services which meet the social, educational, medical, and psychological needs of the child. Our primary focus is to keep sibling groups together in a safe, stable, home-like environment until a more permanent placement can be provided.
The Meaning of the ArtThis quote sparked the idea for Rob Refnsyder... "To think of me as a person that's overachieved, that would mean a lot to me. That means I put a lot of work in and squeezed every ounce of juice out of this orange that I could." - Kobe Bryant. To overachieve, you have to do more than the bare minimum and more than what is expected of you.
