Made to perform for the world class athlete and their everyday life. Believe rings loudly for Eric LeGrand. His belief that he WILL walk again one day is what keeps him motivated to keep working day in and day out.
On October 16th, 2010, in Eric's junior year of college at Rutgers University, LeGrand suffered a severe spinal injury during a game against Army. Following a collision against an opposing player, he laid on the ground for several minutes before being carted off, only able to move his head. He was taken to the intensive care unit where doctors determined that he was paralyzed from the neck down.
Three years later in 2013, humbled by the outpouring of support from around the nation, LeGrand decided to form a charity. Team LeGrand of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation was established in 2013; proceeds go toward research to find a cure for paralysis and helping improve the quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries (SCI).
With this limited-edition shirt, our goal is to raise money for Eric's cause, and help spread the word of the the great things that Team LeGrand and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation are doing for those with spinal cord injuries. We also hope to share Eric's story to an audience of 20 million people, and inspire others facing tough fights to have hope and find motivation to keep fighting, and always believe they will get better.
